Good Afternoon Everyone,

It was so nice to see our parishioners this past weekend, welcome back!  Just a reminder we encourage the use of masks during mass and if you have your own missals feel free to bring them, just remember to take them home with you.  Bulletins will not be available at the doors.  I have a few in the mail box that you can help yourselves to or you can call the office with your email address.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend, ours was quiet with my oldest cooking dinner on the barbecue.

I am totally embarrassed to say, that I spoke with a parishioner early this week and quickly forgot who it was.  Our conversation turned to First Communion dresses and how she was looking to pass along some items.  As it turned out later in the week someone was in need of a First Communion dress, if you are reading this, please contact the office.  If anyone else has a communion dress they would like to donate, please call me. (Looking for a size 12).  Thank you in advance.

A couple of things to mention.  Fr. Malcolm wanted to remind all that confessions have resumed on Tuesday evening and Saturday mornings at the regular times. Confession will be heard in the conference room to allow for distancing and privacy.  The conference room is found in the Narthex of the church (between the office and bathrooms)

RETURN:  Canadian Food for Children distributed in Lent “containers for coins” please return them as they support so many of our brothers and sisters who are struggling in the third world. Please leave them with the ushers for now.

Cloth face masks are still available at a cost of $5.00 each. Available Tuesday – Thursday from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Please wash the masks once you get them home and continue to wash them as they are used.

Can’t get my mind around the fact that July is only a couple days away, summer has officially arrived and the church is now in the season of ordinary time marked by the use of green vestments and banners, and I was reminded that today June 25 marks 6 months before Christmas day.  My mother always said that as you get older times flies by, she sure was right!

Last week Fr. Malcolm had his hair cut, well this week we had Nancy cut both my husband’s and youngest son’s hair in our back yard.  Between both of them I have enough hair to put on all my planters and it keeps the little critters from digging up all my plants!

Enjoy the weekend.

Lets support our advertisers (found on the back page of our bulletin) like they support our church.
