As we come to the completion of another school year, we begin the process of cleaning out our student medications. We would like to request that if your child(ren) have medications of any kind at school, that you come into the school sometime in the next week and pick them up. This includes: epipens, puffers, Benadryl and over the counter medications that you have provided for your child(ren) this year. If you pick up your child’s extra office epipen or puffer prior to the last day of school, please be sure that they are carrying one on them and that you have let their teacher know where it is located in the event it is needed in an emergency. If you wish to have an epipen or puffer sent home with your child, please put a note in their agenda.
All over the counter medications must be picked up by a parent. For safety reasons, they will not be sent home with a student.
Any medications not claimed by the last day of school, will be disposed of appropriately.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Blackmore in the office. 519-740-3530.
