Hey St. Augustine Storm Community!

We need to make sure that you are completing the COVID Self-Assessment each day before coming to school. As we get into the fall, we will find that more and more students will have sniffles, allergies, coughs, tummy aches, and will feel unwell. If this is the case, we really need you to keep your children at home until they are symptom-free. If they come to school with symptoms they will be brought to our “Isolation Room” for assessment and you will be called to come and get them. With your cooperation, we will be able to prevent the spread of COVID and potentially a lot of other common illnesses.

Please know that we understand that this is a challenge for you as parents, but we also ask that you understand the challenges that we face with hundreds of students together at school, during a global pandemic. Please do your part and keep your children home when they are displaying any symptoms or when the self-assessment results encourage you to do so.   Thank you for your continued cooperation, support, and understanding. We are in this together and we are here to help.

On another note:

We are noticing that a few parents have been entering the school parking lot at high risk times when our students are either loading or unloading the buses.  Please DO NOT ENTER THE PARKING LOT between 8:30 am and 8:45 am  &   3:10 pm – 3:30 pm.  If you are coming to drop off or pick up your child, please park on the road and walk in.  Our students are precious and their safety is most important to us so please stay out of the school parking lot during these key times.

Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
