Happy Monday morning St. Augustine Community!

What a glorious weekend God blessed us with. Can you believe we only have 3 more weeks of Distance Learning before we break for summer holidays! Keep working hard to finish up this year giving your very best! Teachers are working very hard to make sure you are learning what you need to be successful when you start your new grade in September.

Important Information

This week coming, your teacher may not be as available online one day as he/she will be going into St. Augustine School to pack up your belongings. We have construction going on which will continue throughout the summer so they need to get classrooms cleaned out. All classrooms are scheduled to be cleaned out by the end of this week coming which means Monday June 15th and Tuesday June 16th your family will receive a drive thru pickup time to gather your belongings. No one will be allowed in the school so we will have a bag with your name on it ready for you at your family pick up time. This will also be a time for you to return school items. Boxes will be placed outside with teacher’s names for you to return any borrowed items. So if you have library books or books at home from your classroom, please start looking for them now so you can hand them in. Grade 8 students with Chromebooks borrowed from the school will also need to be handed in.

Our Final Week of our Family Fun Contest theme: Graduation Wishes for our Grade 8 Students

At this time of the year, our grade 8 students are getting ready to leave St. Augustine school for good to begin a new journey at High School. If we were in school right now we would be celebrating them and wishing them all the best as they prepare to leave our St. Augustine Community. We would like you to say goodbye and let them know they will be missed. Tweet your creative ways to say Good Luck, Best Wishes, Goodbye etc…   Your entries could be in another language, a poster, a cheer, a video message, a poem and so on. Let’s try to send them off with a special goodbye! #SAUGfamilyfun   @staugustinewcd or email Mrs. Carroll at: Angela.CarrollBoeyenga@wcdsb.ca.
